About Petro Painting
Our family-owned-and-operated company started, in the 1950s, as a one-man plaster & painting operation. Throughout the next couple of decades, the family added wall-washing and drywall finishing to our offerings, gradually settling in to the core services of interior and exterior painting for homes, businesses, churches, and all other categories of real estate throughout our region as well as pressure washing for buildings, sidewalks, patios, and driveways.

Our Process
Our process is simple. We find out what you want, prepare for the work, do the work, and make sure that you're happy with what we've done.

Project Planning
In this phase, you'll let us know about the work you'd like to have done. We'll work with you to select and acquire your preferred materials and add your project to our schedule

Site Preparation
We'll start the project by preparing your surfaces for the selected paint, stain, or treatment and applying any necessary coverings to protect surrounding areas.
Getting To Work
When the work area has been prepared, we'll get busy brushing, rolling, spraying, and/or cleaning, and we'll stay busy until your job is complete.

The Finishing
Touches
Before we leave, we'll look over your project to identify surfaces in need of touch-up and get your final approval. Then, we'll pack up our things and get out of your hair.

What brand of paint do you use? We're happy to use any brand of paint that the customer prefers and can make suggestions for brands and product lines that we think will work best, if desired. We have a corporate account with Sherwin Williams and can access Sherwin Williams paint at a discount if desired.
-
How will you apply the paint/stain on my job?We work with the customer to determine the best and most desirable method of application and can provide a consistently high-quality finish whether utilizing a sprayer or brush/roller combination.
-
How many coats of paint/stain will you apply? Each project is unique, but we will work with the customer to determine the most appropriate number of coats for your surfaces. Unless otherwise specified, all Petro Painting estimates are for a single quote of paint/stain.
-
Do I have to buy my own paint? All Petro Painting estimates are for labor only. Unless otherwise specified, the customer is responsible for the cost of the paint. In terms of purchasing the paint, we're completely happy to work with paint the customer has purchased, but we're also okay with making arrangements to pick up the paint ourselves. In cases where we pick up the paint, we add the cost of the paint to the cost of the labor and provide receipts to the customer upon completion of the project.
-
How long have you been in business? Our family has been providing painting and related services for nearly 70 years.
-
Are you insured?Petro Painting is fully insured.
-
How should I prepare for the job?We ask that you move any smaller items from interior rooms slated to be painted. Our team will move and/or cover the remaining furniture in order to access the areas that are to be painted.
-
Do you require a deposit? No. Petro Painting doesn't request any money from our customers until the completion of all contracted work.
